Job Summary

As a Deburr Level 1 Operator, you'll play an essential role in keeping our operations running efficiently through machine operation, part finishing, and quality assurance. Your ability to troubleshoot, follow blueprints, and maintain production standards will set you up for success.


Responsibilities

  • Remove sharp edges from parts per blueprint specs and customer requirements.
  • Utilize hand tools and deburring tools to complete tasks.
  • Review work orders, samples, and blueprints to meet production expectations.
  • Monitor product quality consistently throughout the process.
  • Participate in quality control by inspecting and identifying parts as needed.
  • Update job travelers and input required information per job instructions.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.

Essential Physical Requirements

  • Lifting: Up to 25 lbs when necessary
  • Pushing: Up to 50 lbs when necessary
  • Positioning: Walking (10%), Stationary (85%), Bending/Squatting/Kneeling (5%)

Skills We're Looking For

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills.
  • Ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, other precision instruments).
  • Highly detail-oriented and thorough.

Qualifications You'll Need

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Familiarity with production/manufacturing processes preferred.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and overtime.
  • A collaborative team player with strong analytical and numerical skills.
